“Twisted Paths” is a hanging sculpture designed for Singapore Design Week 2019. Located in the 4-storey atrium of the National Design Centre, the sculpture was commissioned to be the anchor of the design week. Given that there are multiple events running throughout the festival, the sculpture was designed to be as non-intrusive as possible. It is an installation that grounds and complements the quadruple-volume space and adjacent exhibits rather than take attention away; it allows visitors to experience each event and exhibition without being an interference.
